Inspector

I met Larry through Section 3 FBINAA. He stood out as an approachable and genuine person. I appreciate that he is already working at the national level for FBINAA and took time to come to the Georgia FBINAA winter re-trainer this month to meet our leadership and members. Larry and his wife, Penny are committed to the FBINAA and leaving it better than it was found.

Retired Lt. Huntington Police Department

I've never met anyone who took more pride in being a police officer than Larry Zimmerman. He is the consummate professional law enforcement officer. I worked with Larry for close to 30 years at the Huntington Police Department in Huntington, WV. There isn't anybody that I would rather have as backup and nobody I would rather follow in any situation. He worked his way through the ranks to the rank of Captain and held many different positions including hostage negotiator, SWAT officer, and Bureau commander. He had the respect of the entire department, which he always put first. He fought for what is right - a quality that he still possesses and carries with him in every capacity. He would be a tremendous FBINAA representative. You can trust that he would put the needs and tradition of the organization ahead of his own and fight for what is right. I highly recommend Larry as section III representative.

Lieutenant Huntington Police Dept (Retired)

I highly recommend Larry Zimmerman for the position of representative for the FBINAA Section III. I worked with and supervised Larry at the Huntington Police Department for twenty years where he consistently demonstrated exceptional skills and professionalism.
Larry always gave 110% to whatever he was doing; patrol, helping to organize a newly formed bicycle unit for the department or carrying out his duties as a SWAT officer or training supervisor; and finally, as one of the four captains at the Huntington Police Department.
He is committed to excellence in everything he takes on and is the epitome of a professional police officer. He always goes above and beyond to support his colleagues and contributes to the overall success of the team.
Larry’s positive attitude, integrity and strong work ethic makes him a pleasure to work and I am confident that Larry will be a valuable representative in your organization. He has my highest recommendation for the position of Section III representative.
